Sean has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in social work, and more than 30 years of experience in the field of therapeutic programming where he has earned a well-deserved reputation as a caring and compassionate professional dedicated to the well-being of those he serves. Sean began his career working directly with clients in residential settings. Through the years, in various settings, he developed expertise in program design, development, implementation, oversight, and admissions, with a focus on adolescents and young adults struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges, as well as neurological, developmental, and learning differences.
As part of the admissions team at Shrub Oak, Sean helps guide student placement; develops, implements and evaluates admissions processes; and provides strategic leadership. Sean’s background and experience combined with his understanding and empathetic nature make him a perfect fit for Shrub Oak. He is a staunch advocate for autistic individuals and has worked tirelessly throughout his career to support families in need.
