Carleen manages a wide range of communications and marketing initiatives at Shrub Oak designed to elevate the school’s visibility and reinforce its mission. She creates written content, including weekly feature articles, ensuring consistency with the school’s brand and values. She also manages social media strategy, develops marketing collateral, and supports admissions through targeted outreach campaigns. In addition to content development, Carleen collaborates across departments to highlight student programming, staff expertise, and community engagement, helping to tell the story of Shrub Oak with clarity and purpose. She also conducts tours, facilitates student move-ins, and assists with the admissions and intake process. Carleen has worked for more than a decade at Marist College (now Marist University), tutoring students and conducting workshops and trainings on supporting students with disabilities. Prior to joining the Shrub Oak Admissions team, she worked in direct care with autistic children and teens for many years.
In her free time, Carleen enjoys reading and spending time with friends.
