Jennifer has dedicated her career to the education and mental health fields since 2009. Her extensive experience encompasses working with families, students, and a variety of school-based referral systems. Throughout her career, she has held several positions in residential settings, including Courier, GS Team Lead, IEP Coordinator, Outreach and Admissions, Director of School Relations, and Special Contracts Administrator.
Jennifer founded a preschool in 2001 that she operated for several years. These experiences have provided her with a unique perspective on individual learning and the significance of understanding the supports that facilitate student success. When she transitioned from working with preschoolers to working with adolescents, she recognized that the needs of each individual remain constant regardless of age.
Jennifer is renowned for her unwavering commitment to supporting students and working alongside educational systems to foster successful outcomes. Her innate ability to connect with those she works with fosters trust and confidence in the relationships she cultivates. With a sincere and compassionate approach, she endeavors to create an environment where each individual she collaborates with feels valued and esteemed.
Personal:
Jennifer enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family, spoiling her grandson and standard poodle named Millie, and hunting for treasures to restore. She firmly believes Shrub Oak provides the necessary tools to support and transform both individual students and entire family systems and is excited to join the team.
