Patrick Hickey brings over thirty years of experience as an Executive Chef and General Manager to the Shrub Oak community.
Patrick received his professional training at The Culinary Institute of America in 1986. He has a special talent for creative menu development and a flare for the dynamic presentation of his creations. Patrick has a passion for using local seasonal organic cuisine that he puts to work using the vegetables and herbs grown here in the Shrub Oak International School garden. Patrick takes pride in his ability to design menu’s and prepare foods that meet the special dietary restrictions of our students while maintaining the nutritional values required by growing youths.
In addition to his culinary talents, Patrick is an accomplished Ice Sculptor and has attained the Culinary Institute of Americas most advanced Ice Carving Certification. Patrick loves to incorporate his excellent chef skills within his passion for working with the amazing youth at Shrub Oak International School.
