Each summer, Shrub Oak International School hosts a special lacrosse camp that gives students the opportunity to learn new skills, stay active, and connect with visiting student-athletes from the surrounding community. The annual camp has become a highly anticipated tradition on campus, offering an engaging and supportive introduction to one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.
A unique aspect of the program is that a lacrosse team visits Shrub Oak throughout the summer to lead the camp. These student-athletes volunteer their time to teach the fundamentals of the game, including passing, catching, cradling, shooting, and teamwork. This year, Shrub Oak is delighted to welcome the New Fairfield High School Girls Lacrosse Team to campus.
