A recent trip to the Dutchess County Fair gave one Shrub Oak International School student the opportunity to celebrate a summer of hard work while continuing to build valuable skills through his off-campus farm internship. As part of the internship experience, he attended the fair for an educational outing that connected his hands-on learning at the farm with the broader agricultural community.
The trip served as a meaningful way to recognize a student’s dedication throughout the summer. His farm internship has provided opportunities to develop practical skills, learn about agricultural work, and take part in responsibilities that contribute to the daily operation of a farm.
