At Shrub Oak International School, Photography Club gives students an opportunity to explore the world through a camera lens while developing practical and creative skills. Recently, Photography Club students have been focusing on landscape photography, using the Shrub Oak International School campus and other locations as subjects for their work. The campus itself provides a variety of settings and perspectives for students to explore, from the school building and surrounding grounds to outdoor spaces and other areas that offer interesting visual details. By photographing these familiar places in different ways, students have been able to practice looking at their surroundings from new perspectives.
Composition has been an important part of the students’ photography practice.
